Am american doctor is taken to France during world war 2 to try and track down the source of a plague that threatens to halt the invasion only a few days away.
This is a good book although it did seem to lag in the middle slightly. Good characters run through the plot and the book is enjoyable.
While not the best book I have read, it is still an enjoyable book!

I spend a minimum of an hour in the car every work day so I need something to stop me either going crazy or falling asleep…. so I listen to loud music! Gone are the days of listening to 14 or so tracks on a CD and then changing it. With MP3 compatible players and CD’s you can listen to up to 140 songs or so per CD. Makes the drive a lot more bareable if you are not changing disc’s mid drive!
While I tend to listen to most of the tracks I put onto the CD’s I often fast forward past a song if I am in a particular mood and need a song that matches my mood.
I have also been known to sing very loudly if a good song (anything by Tom Jones) is playing!
The only problem is that over the years of ripping my CD’s I have used different programs which all did things a little differently… and now I just can’t be bothered to rip everything again just using one program so its a little muddled sometimes!

A murder on the border of Ontario and Quebec means two detectives have to work together to solve the crime, and try to prevent more from occurring. The problem, one is from Quebec and the other, Ontario.
A brilliant twist on the ‘cop paired up with other cop’ movie. While both the main characters are bi-lingual, the language barrier is still used to great effect. With Patrick Huard as David Bouchard (the French speaking) and Colm Feore as Martin Ward (the English), you have two good actors who not only brought good acting ability to the movie but also show off their comedic timing over and over.
The plot revolves over a murderer who is going around killing people associated with ice hockey, and several times references, not too kind references, are made to real life people and events. This just adds to the hilarity.
I haven’t laughed so much in a long time. A brilliant Canadian movie.
