Goodbye Gren, I'll miss you
I grew up in South Wales, where we had a local evening paper. The paper, The South Wales Echo, always contained a cartoon drawn by a gentleman named Gren. Each cartoon was set in Wales and was usually featuring sheep, rugby and mountains, usually with sheep and rugby being played on them. An instantly recognizeable style of drawing, Gren was a legend to all that lived in Wales.
Even now, living 3000 miles from where I was born, I still look forward to the Gren calendar each year. It makes me smile, miss home and laugh.
Now it will also make me sad as Gren has passed away. He had a good run as they say, lived until he was 72. Loved life, always laughing and very much loved by all that knew him.
