Pre Pay or No Way.
There is a local gas station that consistantly keeps their prices lower then anywhere else around. Today I filled up for nearly 10 cents less than the rest of the gas stations.
Because of its locality next to a busy highway, the pumps furthest from the shop are pre pay. I guess too many folks would fill up and then ‘forget’ to pay and drive off at high speed.
I tend to go for a pump that is open, regardless if it is pre-pump or not. Often I can pull up, walk to the shop, hand my credit card, fill up and be paying before someone who was waiting for a normal pump can even get out of the car. I know that we are used to not doing anything more than we have to, for example, think drive throughs. I can’t honestly believe that people would rather sit and wait (with the engine running) for a pump so that they only have to walk to the shop once rather than get in and out quicker by walking twice.
Maybe I just look upon the extra walk as good exercise, something that I am sorely in need of right now.
Earthquakes in Antarctica draws the attention of the US Military, the Vatican and even some terrorists. What they find is a huge pyramid buried under the thick ice. What lies within the pyramid could answer every question about the birth of humans, but it might also wipe out every human on earth.
